This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when using the QR Kot application ("Application").
QR Kot is an application for generating and scanning QR codes. The Application is designed primarily to operate locally on the user's device.
QR Kot does not require an account and does not require users to provide personal information in order to use its basic features.
Text entered by the user to generate a QR code and content read from QR codes are processed locally on the device. They are not sent to servers operated by the owner of the Application.
If the user uses the QR scanning feature with the device camera, the Application uses the camera to detect and read QR codes. Camera images are used to provide this functionality and are not sent to servers operated by the owner of the Application.
If the user selects an image from the device or pastes an image from the clipboard to scan a QR code, the image is processed locally on the device. The owner of the Application does not receive these images.
The Application may access the device clipboard when the user chooses to paste text or an image. Clipboard data is used only in connection with the feature selected by the user.
The Application may display advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google.
Google AdMob may process information about the device, advertising identifiers, IP address, and information related to displaying and selecting advertisements, in accordance with Google's policies and the user's settings.
QR code contents, images selected by the user, and camera images used for QR scanning are not provided by QR Kot to the advertising system for the purpose of displaying advertisements.

QR Kot may require access to the camera when the user uses the QR scanning feature with the camera.
Access to photos, files, or the clipboard may be used only in connection with features selected by the user, such as loading an image or pasting an image containing a QR code.
QR Kot does not operate its own server for storing QR code contents or user images.
Data generated or read while using the Application is processed locally, except for data that may be processed by third-party service providers such as Google AdMob, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
The owner of QR Kot does not sell users' personal data. The Application does not provide the owner with the contents of scanned QR codes or images used for scanning.
Data may be processed by third-party technical service providers when necessary to provide specific features, in particular by Google in connection with advertising services.
We take reasonable measures to limit unnecessary sharing of user data. Because the basic QR Kot features operate locally, QR code contents do not need to be transmitted to an external server.
The Application is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. QR Kot does not require registration or the submission of personal information to use its basic features.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when new Application features are introduced or when the use of third-party services changes. The current version will be published at the same address.
